Confined Space Training Services
16 Hour Rescue -
Non Fire Department
The 16 hour class is a combination of
extensive classroom training and hands on training of all
participants. The classroom session consists of detailed OSHA
requirements for rescue teams, OSHA requirements for typical
entries and detailed information about the typical equipment
used in confined space work. The hands on portion of the class
uses all of the typical confined space equipment with your
employees as the users fulfilling the roles of Supervisor,
Attendant and Entrant. Each student will perform actual entries
and retrievals. Multiple confined space scenarios will be ran
to allow students various rescue options. All types of rescue
including self rescue, assisted rescue and entry rescue are
covered and practiced. Students will use supplied air systems
and perform patient packaging during the scenarios.
